All About DrawBack Billiards

Hello, my name is Miles and I'd like to start by saying thank you for expressing interest in the story of DrawBack Billiards. I built DrawBack for many reasons; however, one of them has always held for me, which, is my passion for the game. As a player, I've struggled for years to test the equipment I was interested in without purchasing it brand new, which, we all know billiards equipment can be expensive. Fast forward to a time when I was attending computer science school, the concept came to me to build a marketplace for the pool community to buy and sell with each other and I'd love to tell you about it..

Racked up pool balls

The Concept:

As I was viewing local listings on Craigslist I stumbled on a pool cue for sale, it was made by George Balabushka, and they were asking $100,000 for it! I was shocked to see an authentic one up for sale with the COA paperwork to prove it; however, the seller noted that they did not want to pay high auction fees or deal with individuals not committed to purchasing such a pool cue. It was clear to see that this item needed a platform to reach the right crowd of people. The more I thought about it, the more I believed that pool deserved a dedicated marketplace. After all, the equipment we use to play the game is not just improving regularly; but, we are still buying and selling items made 100+ years ago. Between the current selection of today's pool equipment and the demand for prized historical items, the pool community deserves a specialized marketplace to cater to all that is to offer.

The Mission:

The chief principle of DrawBack Billiards is to support the billiards community and elevate the game. The core virtue of DrawBack Billiards is to help those who want to sell their pool equipment reach the widest and most targeted audience possible. Buying used wood also helps save the trees.

The Audience:

Pool players, this marketplace is for you! Don't believe it? Please, feel free to contact us at support@drawbackbilliards.com to provide any feedback and suggestions.
